just went on a lovely trip to bali with a friend of mine from the girls shed we had a great time .. found a lovely batik shop and look what i bought back .. going back in May for my sons wedding will be definatly be getting more, but this time there was a weight problem on the plane so couldnt get any more only $2.30 au woo hoo

Hey there every one, sorry if you haven't, recieved any swaps from me, things are a bit hetic here,

My son had a motor bike accident and has broken ribs and collar bone and shoulder, so lots of hospital trips, anyway he is looking a little better now so be off making some tomorrow, hopefully be caught up soon ..

Went camping yet again a beautiful spot near Dwellingup west australia , This week I am of to bali with 2 of my daughters so all my wonderful swap partners I will get them all done maybe a tiny bit late. I am only going for a week, so will get back into it as soon as i get home. oh by the way this is my beautiful granddaughter Courtney.

Well have had a busy weekend sewing catching up on my swaps, Dont think that they are too late (hopefully) I have decided in all my wisdom to go back to work after 31/2 years, due to heart problems, mostly i am well but i have my moments, anyway back to spotlight only casual though but jumped in a the wrong time, its stock take so lots of work, better not over do it hehe. I am just trying it out for now if it gets a bit much well will just have to retire again, but just wanted to have a go .. well any way better get my swaps ready to post quilt hugs Sue

Hello mother nature I am sitting in my kitchen and its very hot, There has been lots of devastation ect earthquakes, floods, cyclones and in our little neck of the woods constant heat and no relief in sight approx 36 c everyday, i think its safe to we have all had enough please ease up on the weather thank you and god bless (hope she is listening)

busy day

I am busy making sun bonnet sue's lately for a swap in America, have made them on my embroidery machine using applique patterns of the design by juju there is so many if them and lovely, poor credit card getting a pounding, Of to perth tomorrow get my pacemaker checked then home again to do another sun bonnet, (hopefully) Still haven't recieved any of my swaps i have started (sad face) never mind I am sure they will be here soon .....

Well have had a very eventful time with my computer, got a nasty virus, and not able to remove it with normal virus protection, All good now though its fixed and back home, Lucky have all my machine embroidery patterns on, and loads of pics lucky not to lose them, will now back them all up onto external hard drives.. Yes i know should have done it before, but something I have put off, well of to get ready for "The Girls Shed" patchwork night

this is start of my my mug rug I am lucky to be involved in a swap . We have to make 2 rugs and send them on. My swap partner is overseas so decided to make one in a aussie theme. Not feeling the best today so just relaxing watching the cricket and playing on the computer.
